Winter Fun

Ethan has been enjoying winter. That is until the wind has picked up and the temperature has been dropping. He loves playing in the snow. He will take all his front-end loaders and dump trucks outside and plow and move the snow around. This works well since he can do this on our back deck and I can watch from inside and stay warm and get other things done. Diego also serves as a watch dog, sitting at the sliding glass door watching Ethan.

Even when it is cold. Ethan will not pass up on ice cream sandwiches.
Messy and cold but oh so yummy. Little did he, or I think Rob, know that they were weight watchers sandwiches so they must be slightly better for us.

Ethan has also taken to really liking one of his stuffed animals, the giraffe. He has had it forever it seems and giraffe cycles through popularity. Ethan thought one day after school that giraffe needed a snack too. I did not know what to do since Ethan set it up and told me it was giraffes and that giraffe would eat it and that I was not to. Giraffe also got dressed for bed one night in pjs and then got to hang out and watch night time cartoons.

Yesterday we got some new pots and pans. We took one of the cardboard piece and Ethan made it into a crown. He did decorate it with his markers, but that really does not show up very well here. He even shared his crown with Dad, Mom, and tried Diego. Ethan decided that he is King Ethan, not Prince.
