As you can see, Ethan is in 7th Heaven lately. He has a new toy. Yep, an electric motorcycle with training wheels! Turns out one of our neighbors has had it in storage for a few years because his daughter would not allow her kids to ride it. (On the road it is REALLY fast but not very on grass). So one day when Robert and Ethan were out playing he brought it over for Ethan. Since then he has been riding it every chance he gets. He still likes his powerwheel race car, which goes faster, but love the motorcycle best for now.
We discovered this past weekend that it has a horn and a button to turn the front light on. So now you hear Ethan honking as he drives all around the yard. Sure is a good thing we have such a large yard for him to drive in. Especially since the drive way is not the best place for him to be playing. I must say it this boy is really spoiled! We are trying to keep the rotten at the lowest possible point though.
Speaking of spoiled; Ethan is not the only one. Mom got a new "toy" as wel
l. Just bigger and more expensive. Meet Pee-Wee, and NO I did not get a pick a name, that is just his name. It kind of fits. Usually I just end up calling him P. Only had him a couple of weeks. He is a 6 year old appaloosa quarter horse cross. He is calm and friendly although we are currently going through a stubborn patch. We keep him at a Stables 7.5 miles away that has TONS of acres and trails.
Other things happening are: Robert returned from his New Zealand trip. Had a good time. Was the warmest May in like 70 years. He even put his feet in the South Pacific. His host's wife had some cows and sheep and they had a wonderful view at their place. He brought back plenty of presents and a cold we are all sharing in now --- Thanks a lot hubby......
Ethan recently speant a week in Indiana, where he went in the pool with his life jacket and a float but did not need someone holding onto him like previous time. Hopefully this will stick. Still oppose to water in the face, but so is Mom. So I can't blame him. He also went on his first school field trip - they went mini-golfing. Ethan said," Yep, that is where the bus took us" and "I missed the hole a lot". Sounds like he had fun though. He got to be in a group with his two buds Sophie and Evan.
Ethan is also looking forward to all adventures this summer and of course being spoiled by Grandparents in Wisconsin this August.
