Well, it has happened. I am one of 'those' Moms. The ones that always make the cute yummy snacks for day care or school events. Ethan had a Valentines Day party at day care and we signed up to bring cookies. But not just any cookies. I make heart shaped sugar cookies, then stuck a lollypop stick in them and decorated each one differently. Then found a great basket and put in some fake plant foam and stuck the cookies in it. It looked really good and they got rave reviews from both kids and parents. :o) I am very proud of myself. I have lots of fun treats planned for his up coming birthday that should also be yummy and fun to make.
Ethan is really enjoying having a kitten. He loves to carry Mauser around. I had to teach him how to carry the kitten. At first he was good about carrying around the mid section. But, it did not take long before it was the neck. So now, he knows one hand under the arms and one under the bottom. Mauser is really good with Ethan. He does not try to get away or wiggle at all. He just sits still.
