Brithday treats for daycare

While we are not "offically" celebrating Ethan's birthday until Saturday at his party, I made some cupcakes for the day care. Of course, like always, they are not plain ones. In fact I had to use the table saw and cut a piece of wood for a base! Thanks to DeDe for the Hello CupCake book that this one came from. FYI: My favorite is the nails made out of runts. Now just wish me luck with the birthday cake --- Ethan wants a tank cake.

5 year check up

Ethan had his 5 year check up yesterday. He is 44 1/2 inches tall and 45.6lbs. He also got to give a urine sample and got a finger prick to test iron level. In all he did really well.
